Longsightedness, also known as hyperopia, affects a person’s ability to see objects close to them. Vision problems such as longsightedness are often referred to as refractive errors. If you are longsighted, you will usually be able to see distant objects clearly, but nearby objects will be out of focus. Glasses and contact lenses are the most common method used to correct refractive errors, including long sightedness.
Magnifiers are also a simple yet effective method to help improve vision to those living with long sightedness.
